Fixed-time Disturbance Observer-Based Finite-Time Backstepping Control for Hypersonic Vehicle

Abstract Due to the severe flight environment, hypersonic vehicles are susceptible external disturbances and aerodynamic parameter uncertainties, dramatically challenging precise control stable tracking. This paper presented a fixed-time disturbance observer (FTDO) obtain better tracking performance for vehicles. The FTDO can improve under perturbations, whose observation time is bounded does not depend on initial errors. backstepping guarantee finite-time convergence with technique. A second-order filter designed process complexity explosion problem in traditional ensure system’s stability. Then Lyapunov theory, it proved that system convergent finite time. Finally, three numerical simulation results based typical conditions given show effectiveness advantage of developed scheme, be estimated accurately within two seconds. These have reference value controller design other aircraft complex environments.
